Fillings

WHITE (TOOTH COLOURED) FILLINGs

Implementing advances in the technology, patients can have teeth restored with tooth coloured materials.
The fillings are plastic based materials with fine particles of quarts and glass and are designed to appear like natural tooth structure.

AMALGAM (OLD) FILLINGS REPLACEMENT

Old amalgam fillings contain mercury which is of concern. They also stain the natural tooth structure and tend to expand. This causes pressure on the cusp of the tooth which can lead to cracking. As such, it can be a good idea to remove amalgam fillings and replace with modern technology.
